Abstract

The presence of low technological ovality (thilobing or tetralobing) of sliding bearing shaft complicates the process of tribocontact task solution of its durability determining using interval-discrete cumulative wear model. Therefore, to reduce the length of calculation the interval-block scheme for this problem solution has been applied. The effect of sampling interval size of the shaft contour and cycles (blocks) of tribocontact interaction at constant conditions on bearing durability has been investigated. Increasing of the sampling interval shaft contour and increasing of the block size can proportionally reduce the calculation (up to 100000 times) with a proportional loss of solution accuracy to 10 %. Found that shaft ovality significantly affect on the bearing durability increasing (21 %).
