Calculation model of wear and longevity of worm gears with evolvent worm
Abstract
On the base of tribokinetic model of wear the method for calculation of longevity of worm gears has been developed. In particular the gear with evolvent worm has been considered. Solution of the problem has been received and gears resource has been calculated. Besides, change of contact pressures and sliding velocities in selected points of hooking contact have been investigated.References
