Abstract
Analyze patterns of change in the size of the contact surfaces and shrinkage of shavings and the energy States of processed and tool materials during machining. The authors study changes in the size of the contact surfaces and shrinkage of the chips in the process of machining. The obtained results are the initial data when using the assessment methodology per-formance cutting tools for the analysis of acoustic characteristics of the energy state of processed and tool materials with the use of differential equation causality.
