It is revealed that the coefficient of hysteresis loss varies from zero to unity when the old rails, and with the new has the greatest value, and also that the rolling resistance of the wheels rolling under the new rails is approximately twice higher than the old ones.Key words: hysteresis loss, rolling resistance, rolling, rolling resistivity, the coefficient of rolling friction.
