Foundation patterns of change rate of heating frictional elements of drum brake
Abstract
The paper presents determining rates of frictional heating elements of drum brake based on thermal balance equa-tion with different initial and boundary conditions. It takes into account the process of thermal emission during braking. It is established interrelation between rates of heating pulley rim brake and frictional slip and gradients of temperatures both on their surfaces and thickness. It is important to know a picture of rates of heating of metal and nonmetallic frictional elements at improving existing and construction of new braking devices as well as study their modes of operation of friction pairs.References
