Abstract

Bearings are the most widespread and most vulnerable elements of any rotary mechanism. Bearings shall spatial fixing rotors and acceptmost of the static and dynamic forcesarising in the mechanism. Therefore the technical condition of bearings is the major component determining working capacity of the whole mech anism. In article researches, a stock of working capacity of the of rolling and plain bearings by means of the eqsperimental stand are described. In the given work investigated the performance characteristics of rolling bearings for various loads due to the imbalance of the rotor. Identified the causes of intensive wear of ball bearings. Experiments revealed that the decrease in load leads to an increase in slip. Interest represents the dependence of slippage of rolling bearings and loads. Slippage of decreases with increasing load on bearings. Research results suggest the following conclusions. Bearings must operate with some initial load to reduce the amount of slippage of balls. Create some pre-axial or radial loads.
